After consultation with Académie MIXTE's pedagogical committee, we are pleased to announce the names of the 5 winning composers in our Call for Musical Creation :
- Pasquale LAURO (M) / Italy – Project: « Liminal Space »
- Ji-Young LEE (W) / South Korea – Project: « Objets Dissous »
- Loïc LE ROUX (H) / France – Projet : « Taten und Leiden »
- Floriana PROVENZANO (W) / Italy – Project: « bagliori (iii) »
- Ivana RADOVANOVIC (W) / Austria – Project: « Dodola: Ritual of Calling the Rain »
The Académie MIXTE will accompany the 5 composers in the writing of their work (for flutes, saxophones, percussion, piano and electronics) throughout the 2025-2026 season and will welcome them in residence during the Académie MIXTE in Pau from 3 to 10 July 2026, in partnership with the Conservatoire Pau-Béarn-Pyrénées.
The works will be premiered by Proxima Centauri at the Festival MÀD - Festival of Musical Creation in November 2026.
