FEEDBACK ON THE FIRST EDITION (2021-2022)
Following a call for emerging composers, five were selected and supported throughout the year. MIXTE then culminated in a week-long residency, concerts and meetings with the public in Talence (Gironde) in July 2022.
In all, 20 participants worked together for a week in Talence. The week was punctuated by two public concerts by the participants, one during Rock & Chanson's Jardins Sonores mini-festival, the other at the Espace François Mauriac.
MIXTE est associé au Festival MÀD qui se déroule en octobre ou novembre dans la métropole bordelaise. Un tremplin « jeune génération » y présenta en création mondiale le dimanche 16 octobre 2022 les 5 oeuvres sélectionnées, interprétées par l’ensemble Proxima Centauri.
