The Académie MIXTE has two distinct strands, and therefore 2 specific calls for applications:

Goals
- Discover and deepen your knowledge of mixed music, which associate instrumental ensemble, voice and new technologies;
- Develop sharings between composers and performers;
- Give a space for dissemination to emerging composers and performers.
Program
- Individual lessons for participating composers with each guest composer;
- Daily group chamber music lessons with guest artists;
- Collective & collaborative workshops ;
- Optional one or two individual master classes for performers (instruments to be defined);
Two discovery workshops on "new technologies" and "new instrumental practices" are open to the public outside the Academy. They are supervised by the Academy's teaching staff.
Teaching method
- Videoconference exchange sessions throughout the year for the 5 selected composers (PART 1 OF THE ACADEMY);
- Creative residency for the 5 selected composers (PART 1 OF THE ACADEMY) ;
- Group lessons ;
- Collective work sessions;
- Presentation by each speaker of their background and work;
- Workshops ;
- Public presentations of the works;
- Lectures (at the André-Labarrère Library - 10 Pl. Marguerite Laborde 64000 Pau)
- Public concerts (outdoors and in the library).
Validation
- Individual certificate of completion.
